LOOKING BACK
The museum context posed a unique challenge:

Users are already immersed so any digital layers must be effortless and non-disruptive. Balancing discovery, navigation, and clarity within a low-distraction experience required thoughtful trade-offs.

A key challenge was scoping the feature set while maintaining a non-disruptive experience. If I were to revisit the project, I would invest more time in early mapping and concept design exploration to reduce complexity during later iterations.

If I could go back, I’d love to:
  • Take a closer look at exploring design solutions that live in the museum or the possibility of a non digital/mobile-centric experience
  • Invest more time in the map, integrating interactivity and ensure it feels like it ‘follows’ the user’s journey

For the future 🌱

Designing for the museum context taught me to prioritize essential interactions and grounding design decision in real user behaviours. These lessons will shape how I approach future projects, especially those that support real-world experiences.
